Notice of postponement:

Due to COVID-19 and the restrictions placed on gatherings, we regret to inform you that we have to postpone this event. We are planning to hold the event next year on Friday 16 July 2021 with the 1961 year group. Full refunds will be issued to those who have already booked. If you have any questions, please contact alumni@trinhall.cam.ac.uk


 

All members who matriculated in 1960 are invited back to College to celebrate 60 years since arriving at Trinity Hall.

On the Day

11.30am: Visit to the Old Library.

12.30pm: Drinks reception in the Master’s Lodge.

1.00pm: Lunch in the Graham Storey Room. Dress code for the lunch will be smart/casual.

After lunch: Visit to the Boathouse.

Guests are warmly invited to the anniversary celebrations.

For those who would like to stay in College for longer, it is possible to arrange a buffet supper in the evening. If you would be interested in a light supper please indicate this on the booking form. There is a minimum of 10 people required. Should there be enough interest, details will be circulated about how to book a place at the evening buffet. The cost will be around £40 per person including drinks.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available for the Thursday and Friday nights. This will be in –

  • single student rooms on Central Site (£45 Bed & Breakfast)
  • single ensuite rooms at Wychfield (£50 room only | £60 Bed & Breakfast)
  • double ensuite rooms at WYNG Gardens on Thompson’s Lane (£100 Bed & Breakfast)

If you wish to stay overnight, please choose your preferred option when booking.

Breakfast for both Wychfield and WYNG Gardens guests will be served on Central Site.

If you need to stay overnight, but would prefer to book a hotel or B&B room, you may like to refer to the Visit Cambridge website or telephone them on 0871 226 8006.

Photography

We like to take photographs at our alumni events to use in our digital and print communications. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please let us know in advance or on the day.

Parking

There will be some parking spaces available at our Wychfield site. These cannot be reserved and will be allocated on a first come-first served basis. Alternative parking options will be included with the final information, which will be sent to those coming the week before the event. If you do park at Wychfield, you can either walk to College, which takes around 20 minutes, or the Porter on duty can call you a taxi to bring you down to Central Site.

Cancellations

We are able to offer refunds for bookings cancelled five working days or more before an event. Requests for late refunds will be considered on an individual basis and refunds will be issued at the discretion of the Alumni & Development Office. We cannot accept responsibility if weather or disruption to travel prevents you from attending.
