Reunion (1980, 1981, 1982 & 1983)

All members of Trinity Hall who matriculated in 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983 are invited back to an official College Reunion.

On the Day

4.00pm: The day will begin with tea and biscuits [for alumni and guests]

There will then be time to change into smart evening wear (black tie optional) ready for –

6.30pm: Reunion photograph in Latham Court

followed by a drinks reception in the Master’s Lodge/Fellows’ Garden

7.30pm: Dinner will be served in the Dining Hall [alumni only]

The Aula bar will be open after dinner.

As with all Reunions, the dinner is initially only open to alumni, but you are welcome to bring guests to the tea. Please indicate this on the booking form so we know how many to cater for.

Accommodation

Very limited College accommodation is still available.

The accommodation options are –

  • single student rooms on Central Site (£60 Bed & Breakfast) *SOLD OUT*
  • double student rooms on Central Site (£80 Bed & Breakfast) *SOLD OUT*
  • single ensuite rooms at Wychfield (£60 room only | £70 Bed & Breakfast) *SOLD OUT*
  • double ensuite rooms at WYNG Gardens on Thompson’s Lane (£110 Bed & Breakfast)

If you wish to stay overnight, please choose your preferred option when booking.

Breakfast for both Wychfield and WYNG Gardens guests will be served on Central Site.

Additional nights may be available so please contact Liz Pentlow if this would be of interest.

Alternatively, you can book a hotel or B&B room via the Visit Cambridge website or visit the Cambridge Rooms site that includes accommodation at other Colleges.

If you have a University CAMCard you can get discounts on selected accommodation, including the Møller centre at Churchill College. These are listed on their website.

If you don’t already have one, you can apply for a CAMCard online.

Parking

There will be some parking spaces available at our Wychfield site. These cannot be reserved and will be allocated on a first come-first served basis. If you do park at Wychfield, you can either walk to College, which takes around 20 minutes, or the Porter on duty can call you a taxi to bring you down to Central Site. The Wychfield Gardens are worth a visit if you have some spare time.

Alternative parking options (including park & ride, on-street parking and city car parks) will be included with the final information that will be sent to those coming the week before the event.

Photography

We like to take photographs at our alumni events to use in our digital and print communications. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please let us know in advance or on the day.

Lost List

Check who is on the Lost List for your year (enter 1980, 1981, 1982 or 1983 in the matric year box). If you are in touch with anyone listed, please ask them to contact us so we can invite them to the dinner.

Cancellations

We are able to offer refunds for bookings cancelled five working days or more before an event. Requests for late refunds will be considered on an individual basis and refunds will be issued at the discretion of the Alumni & Development Office. We cannot accept responsibility if weather or disruption to travel prevents you from attending. Please email the office or call +44 (0)1223 332567 at the earliest opportunity, if you need to cancel a booking.
