Biography
Peregrine read Law from 1969-1972 (when he was taught by the great triumvirate of John Collier, David Fleming and David Thomas). He was called to the Bar in 1973 and practiced in commercial chambers (Brick Court Chambers). He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1991 and served as a Recorder of the Crown Court. In 2002 he was appointed a High Court Judge (Queen’s Bench Division) where he sat in the Commercial Court and as a Presiding Judge of the North Eastern Circuit. He was appointed to the Court of Appeal and to the Privy Council in 2015.
