Lent Term arrangements

The Jerwood Library is operating a Request and Collect facility from 12 January. It is otherwise closed to visitors and there will be no opportunity to use the library as a study space this term.

To help keep everyone safe, some important changes have been put in place in the Jerwood Library. Full details of these changes and the library services that are now available can be found in our new guide.

You can find out more about the arrangements at the University Library on their website.

Collecting and returning books if you’re self-isolating

You can make arrangements with the library for a friend to collect your books. They can then leave the books at the edge of your household for you to retrieve.

If you are self-isolating and need assistance in arranging a loan from the library please contact the team who will be happy to assist you:

Do not return your books until three days (72 hours) after your self-isolation has ended.

Limited opening hours

The Jerwood Library opening hours are: Mon-Fri: 9.30am to 8.00pm, Sat-Sun: 9.30am-5.30pm.

Seat bookings

There is very limited seating available to allow for social distancing, so we have introduced a booking system. Bookings become available a week in advance.
