To mark the Trinity Hall Student Journalism prize 2026 and celebrate the winners we are delighted to invite you to this Careers Panel with Q&A and ‘speed meet’.

Join us for an exclusive opportunity to hear from the judges of the Prize—all established journalists (and Trinity Hall alumni)—about how they forged their careers, their advice for aspiring journalists and why, despite the challenges, good journalism is more important than ever.

The discussion will be followed by a ‘speed meet’ and drinks reception, where you will have the chance to network with the judges, and fellow attendees.

The speed meet will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to meet each of the judges in turn in small groups, and ask questions about a career in journalism, as well as the chance to meet others interested in journalism as a career.  Booking is essential, as places are limited to ensure all attendees are able to participate fully.
