Trinity Hall, along with all other University of Cambridge Colleges, is committed to the principle that no student should be deterred from studying for a Degree at the University of Cambridge by financial considerations.
Government and Cambridge Funding
There are many sources of support available, ranging from loans from the Student Loans Company to bursaries offered by the University and Colleges. Information on financial support available from the University is available on the University website in the following two places:
The UK Government has confirmed that EU students applying for an undergraduate course at an English university in the 2018 to 2019 academic year will continue to have access to student loans and grants, even if the course concludes after the UK’s exit from the EU.
- Trinity Hall offers hardship bursaries to students in unexpected financial difficulty. Applications may be made each term.
- Travel Grants are available to support travel which has educational value and is related to a student’s degree subject.
- The College provides grants towards the cost of University language courses which are connected with a student’s study or research.
- There are also a few bursaries or grants associated with specific sports or degree subjects.
