The first in-person Open Day in Cambridge since the pandemic saw more than 3,000 people visit Trinity Hall.

The University of Cambridge’s Open Days are aimed at prospective applicants from Year 12 (or equivalent) and mature applicants (aged 21 or over), together with their parents or supporters, to help them learn more about the University.

Well over 1,000 visitors toured the College in early July, with more than 2,000 doing so on the following day.

Dr Marcus Tomalin said: “It was lovely so see so many prospective applicants exploring Trinity Hall in person, especially with such great weather.

“I’d like to wholeheartedly thank the student helpers for their hard work and enthusiasm, both for their respective subjects and Trinity Hall itself.

“Overall the two days were hugely successful and we look forward to welcoming prospective applicants again in September.”
