Get involved with the Regatta

On the day of the Regatta we are encouraging former THBC members to participate in a crew, as a helper, or a supporter. Once you have selected your dinner and accommodation options the online form will ask you how you wish to participate. Rowing will be in mixed crews in eights. If there are other THBC members you wish to row with on the day you will have the opportunity to add your preference on the booking form. Individuals will be allocated to a crew where slots are available.

Please note – if you only wish to row as a named four, this can be accommodated by Paul Townshend, THBC Head Coach, at any other time but will not be possible on the Regatta day itself. You can email Paul if you have any questions on this matter.

Accommodation

Please note that accommodation through the dinner booking form is now fully booked. You are still able to book for dinner but will need to arrange accommodation elsewhere, either in a local hotel or by visiting Unique B&B accommodation in Cambridge colleges.

However, if you are planning to attend both the THBC200 Dinner on 17 April and the Aula Club Dinner on 16 April and require accommodation for two nights, please email Oleno Netto. While accommodations at Central Site and WYNG are fully booked, rooms are still available in Wychfield for attendees of the two events.

Those attending the Aula Club Dinner will also have the opportunity to book accommodation for 16 April when invitations are issued. The Aula Club Dinner and accommodation will be booked and paid for separately, with invitations expected to be sent in early 2027. If you have any questions about the Aula Club Dinner, please email Kate Hearle, Honorary Secretary.

Commemorative merchandise

There is still time to express your interest in purchasing an item of THBC merchandise.
If you have already done so, there is no need to do so again. We have a record of it and will be in touch shortly.

THBC Tartan scarves
By popular demand the Boat Club tartan is back! As the tartan has not been available for a number of years we anticipate high demand. The cost will be in the region of £60. To avoid disappointment, please register you interest in purchasing a scarf now by emailing THBC200@trinhall.cam.ac.uk.

Blazer Buttons
The College has commissioned a new die to supply both jacket and cuff buttons, available in sets of 3 jacket and 8 cuff. To complete your THBC blazer, the cost will be in the region of £90. To register your interest in purchasing blazer buttons please email THBC200@trinhall.cam.ac.uk.
