It is with great sadness that the College announces the death of Emeritus Fellow Professor Jonathan Steinberg. Jonathan was Fellow and Director of Studies in History from 1966 to 1999, and Vice-Master from 1990 to 1994. He became Walter Annenberg Professor of Modern History at the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. His colleagues and students remember him as a kind friend, a fine historian and a great teacher. Our sympathy and condolences go to his partner, Dr Marion Kant.
