60th Anniversary lunch (1958)

All members who matriculated in 1958 are invited back to College to celebrate 60 years since arriving at Trinity Hall.

On the Day

11.00am: Tour of the Wychfield Gardens (meet at the Wychfield Porters Lodge).

12.30pm: Drinks reception in the Master’s Lodge in College.

1.00pm: Lunch in the Graham Storey Room. Dress code for the lunch will be smart/casual.

2.30pm: Visit to the Old Library.

Guests are warmly invited to the anniversary celebrations.

The Gardening team have offered to take alumni and guests on a guided tour of the gardens at our Wychfield site at 11am on the Friday morning. If you would like to go on this tour, please indicate this on the booking form. The Porters can arrange taxis to get you within a 5 minute walk of College in time for the lunch.

The Old Library will be open for you to visit after lunch.


Accommodation is available for the Thursday and Friday nights. This will be in –

  • single student rooms on Central Site (£42 Bed & Breakfast)
  • single ensuite rooms at Wychfield (£46 room only | £56 Bed & Breakfast)
  • a limited number of double ensuite rooms at WYNG Gardens on Thompson’s Lane (£108 room only | £128 Bed & Breakfast)

If you wish to stay overnight, please choose your preferred option when booking.

Breakfast for both Wychfield and WYNG Gardens guests will be served on Central Site.

Additional nights may be available so please contact Liz Pentlow on if this would be of interest.

If you need to stay overnight, but would prefer to book a hotel or B&B room, you may like to refer to the Visit Cambridge website or telephone them on 0871 226 8006.


There will be some parking spaces available at our Wychfield site. These cannot be reserved and will be allocated on a first come-first served basis. Alternative parking options will be included with the final information, which will be sent to those coming the week before the event. If you do park at Wychfield, you can either walk to College, which takes around 20 minutes, or the Porter on duty can call you a taxi to bring you down to Central Site.

We are able to offer refunds for bookings cancelled five working days or more before an event. Requests for late refunds will be considered on an individual basis and refunds will be issued at the discretion of the Alumni & Development Office.
