The Trinity Hall Association is delighted to welcome alumni and their guests for a special dinner on board HMS Warrior in Portsmouth.
HMS Warrior, launched in 1860, was a technological marvel of her time. As the world’s first iron-hulled warship, she was larger, faster, and more heavily armored than any ship before her. Today, she rests in Portsmouth as a reminder of 19th century naval engineering.
Guests will be welcomed to the ship with a pre-dinner drink before enjoying a three-course dinner in the Officer’s Half Deck. Tours will also be available as part of the evening. Further details will be sent to guests nearer the time.
We hope you will join us for this special cultural and culinary experience, and take the opportunity to meet with friends old and new from across the alumni community.

Dress code
The dress code is smart evening attire (black tie optional).
Please note the following from the venue:
‘The decks of our historic ships are sensitive to marking from sharp objects, therefore we ask that the heels of the shoes are larger than a 5p coin or that heel protectors are worn. These are available to purchase from us or you are welcome to bring your own.’
Accessibility
Wheelchair users can visit the upper deck of the HMS Warrior by navigating the ramp that leads you onboard. Please note, the ship is in a wet dock and the ramp can be steep depending on the tide. The venue recommend entering at low tide if that is a concern; tide times can be accessed here. There is a stairlift from the upper deck to the gundeck below; to use this please speak with a member of staff.
If you have any concerns about accessibility, please let us know.
Cancellations
We are able to offer refunds for bookings cancelled five working days or more before an event. Requests for late refunds will be considered by the THA Committee on an individual basis as we appreciate that sometimes exceptional circumstances prevent attendance at an event.
