We’d like to invite you to a very special evening where Trinity Hall alumni who work in finance, accounting, journalism, tech and consultancy will talk about their professional paths. The panel discussion will be followed by a standing drinks reception with nibbles, where you will have the chance to chat with the panellists. These interactions have resulted in successful connections in previous years.

The PaTHways Event: Nicholson Careers Evening 2025 is free of charge and has no dress code. Please join us in the Lecture Theatre from 18:25, ready for a prompt 18:30 (GMT) start. Book now and save your space.

Chair

Emily Bosley (2012, Natural Sciences) - Head of Financial Control at UK Health Security Agency

Emily is currently Head of Financial Control at the UK Health Security Agency, a government body whose remit is to prepare for, prevent and respond to health threats to UK population. These include infectious diseases as well as chemical and radiological hazards. Her role includes facilitating the Agency’s statutory audit, as well as managing the accounting for complex areas including vaccines and the Agency’s collection of cell cultures. Matriculating in 2012, she studied Natural Sciences before training as an accountant. Her previous roles have included Head of Performance Reporting for Covid at UKHSA, rolling out Covid Vaccines in the NHS, heading up financial governance for Suffolk and North East Essex CCGs, and being an auditor at KPMG.

Tom Cheshire (2006, Classics) - Data & Forensics Correspondent at Sky News

Tom is a senior correspondent for Sky News, based in London. He was previously Asia correspondent, based in Beijing, with a particular focus on China, Japan, South Korea and North Korea. In North Korea, he was the only British broadcaster to witness the demolition of the Punggye-ri nuclear test site. He was part of a team that won a BAFTA for its coverage of the Hong Kong protests. In 2025, he was nominated for Royal Television Society Specialist Journalist of the Year. Before joining Sky, he was previously associate editor at WIRED magazine and is also the author of The Explorer Gene, a non-fiction account of a family of explorers published in 2013.

Jason Mashinchi (2020, Management Studies) - Founder & Managing Director at Cambridge Kinetics

Jason Mashinchi is the founder of Cambridge Kinetics, the firm behind Kinabase – a software platform streamlining modern business operations. He holds a first-class degree in Computer Science and a distinction in Industrial Systems, Manufacturing, and Management from the University of Cambridge, and sits on the Board of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce. Jason established the company at just 24, with a mission to empower organisations to achieve more through user-centric software. In 2024, he was named Young Business Person of the Year at the SME National Business Awards.

Antonio Weiss (2010, History) - Senior Partner at The Public Service Consultants

Antonio Weiss is an AI, digital and technology expert. He has advised leading UK and international institutions on major technology transformation including the NHS, Office for Artificial Intelligence, UK Government Digital Service and UK Space Agency via his role as a Senior Partner at The PSC. His written work has been shortlisted for the CMI Book of the Year Award, a #1 UK WHSmith Business Bestseller, won the Business Book of the Month award, and been translated into several languages across the globe. He has a PhD from the University of London and holds a research post at the Bennett Institute at the University of Cambridge, focusing on digitisation and public policy. Antonio is regularly featured in the media discussing his work, having appeared on the BBC, ABC News, The Guardian and others. Antonio is a three-times elected councillor in London, serving as a Cabinet Member and Group Chair. He was a Governor at a leading FE college for ten years. Antonio served as Senior Advisor on digital, data and technology to the Office of the incoming UK Prime Minister. He is also the co-founder of Thomas Clipper, a GQ-award winning UK fragrance company.

Charlotte Yonge (2006, Modern & Medieval Languages) - Senior Fund Manager at Troy Asset Management

Charlotte is a fund manager and one of the co-founders of the charity GAIN (Girls Are INvestors). She is a member of the executive team at Troy Asset Management where she runs the Trojan Ethical Fund and is the Co-Manager of the Trojan Fund and Personal Assets Trust. She is also a member of the investment committee of Trinity Hall Cambridge. Charlotte graduated from Cambridge in 2010 with an MA in Modern Languages. She holds the CISI Diploma and is a CFA Charterholder.
