On both days drinks will be served at midday, followed by a buffet lunch at 12.30pm.

Friends of Trinity Hall Society

We recognise the support that family members give to students studying at Cambridge. For this reason we launched our Friends Society, which gives you the opportunity to become part of the College community and keep up to date with the latest news and events.

The Society is free to join and, if you choose to register, you will be added to our database to receive:

  • the College’s annual publications Front Court and the Trinity Hall Review
  • our e-newsletters with details of College news
  • invitations to College events such as webinars, lectures, concerts and exhibitions

To join our community, please register: https://alumni.trinhall.cam.ac.uk/friendsofTHregistration.

We hope you understand that we are unable to offer any advice on academic or tutorial matters, and that membership of the programme is not intended to intrude upon the relationship between the student and the College. The aim of the Society is to keep you connected with Trinity Hall.

Booking and cost

Tickets have been subsidised to £15 per person, and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please only book for one of the two available dates. The cost includes a drinks reception, and buffet lunch served with wine (non-alcoholic options available).

Booking closes at midday on Wednesday 27 March.

Please note that students are not automatically registered, and must be booked in via the booking form. Students attending are invited to bring up to two guests in the first instance, who must also be registered in advance via the form.

Please let us know if you would like to be added to the waiting list for additional tickets.

Parking

There is no parking on the main College site except in exceptional circumstances. You can park on Storeys Way as the parking restrictions only apply Monday to Friday. There is also on-street parking in the area beyond Grange Road. Alternatively, you may wish to use the Cambridge Park and Ride where you can leave your car overnight.

We recognise that you might be entering the main College site to unload student luggage. We hope you understand that as others will also need to do so, we would be grateful if you could vacate the site once you are finished, and park at one of the recommended spots (or elsewhere) before returning for the lunch.

Photography

We like to take photographs at our alumni events to use in our digital and print communications. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please let us know in advance or on the day.

Cancellations

We are able to offer refunds for bookings cancelled five working days or more before an event. Requests for late refunds will be considered on an individual basis and refunds will be issued at the discretion of the Alumni & Development Office. We cannot accept responsibility if weather or disruption to travel prevents you from attending. Please email Rebecca Horner or contact +44 (0)1223 763385 at the earliest opportunity if you need to cancel a booking.
