Alumni Benefits

As alumni of Trinity Hall, you are entitled to a range of benefits. You can book accommodation in College, dine at High Table, connect with alumni and students, use College punts and sports facilities, and visit College at anytime. You also have a variety of benefits from the University.

Accommodation

If you are visiting Cambridge and need overnight accommodation, we may be able to help. Alumni can book double en-suite rooms in the Master’s Lodge on W staircase.

Your MA Dining Privileges entitle you to dine at High Table up to three times per year at no charge.

Connecting with alumni and students

Connect with Trinity Hall students and fellow alumni through our exclusive online community, LinkHall, with a two-week yearly mentoring programme, an exciting range of careers events and plenty more.

Punts and Sport

College punts, squash courts, gym, sports pitches and tennis courts are available to book.

Punts

College punts are available for alumni to book at a rate of £10 per hour from April to October. Punts can be used between 7am and dusk and should be booked via the Porters (01223 332500) no more than one week in advance. Payment is made through the Porters’ Lodge by cash, cheque or credit card (minimum spend £10 on card).

Sports facilities

Alumni are permitted to use the sports facilities at Wychfield, which include squash courts, a fitness room (induction is required), a sports field and hardcourts. The squash courts and fitness room should be booked through the Porters at Wychfield (01223 339029) and the sports field and hardcourts through Will Brown (Groundsman) by phone on 01223 332530 or email.

Visiting College

Alumni are welcome to visit and look around the College grounds and Chapel; we kindly ask that you make yourself known to the Porters on arrival. We would advise confirming with the Porters in advance on +44 (0)1223 332500 in case any areas of College will be closed.

If you are looking around Cambridge make sure you have a CAMCard so you can take advantage of discounts in shops and businesses.

Coffee Shop and Aula Bar

Alumni are welcome at the Coffee Shop and Aula Bar in North Court. The bar is open from 9.30am to 6pm during Full Term and offers a range of hot drinks, sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Opening hours during vacations are shorter (approximately 10am to 3pm but please check with the Porters). Wi-fi is available.

University Benefits and CAMCards

The CAMCard provides alumni with numerous discounts and offers in Cambridge.

The University Alumni Office offers additional benefits on top of those offered by Trinity Hall including:
