Friends of Trinity Hall Society
In 2009 we established a Friends of Trinity Hall Society to encourage those who may not have studied here, but who have some connection with the College, to feel more involved with College life. This may include parents/guardians of current or former students, partners/spouses of alumni or other family and friends. The Friends Society is free to join.
All those who register will receive:
- the College publications Front Court and the Trinity Hall Review (three per year), either by post or by email
- termly e-newsletters with details of the latest College news
- invitations to College events including lectures, concerts and dinners
- an invitation to the Freshers’ Family Lunch (further details below)
How to join the Friends Society

Freshers’ Family Lunch
Parents/guardians and other family members of Freshers are invited to attend the Freshers’ Family Lunch in College at the start of term in January. The lunch will provide an opportunity to experience dining in the College Hall. Please note that Freshers are only able to bring up to three guests and there is a charge to attend.
Those who are eligible will receive an invitation from the College at the end of October. If you do not receive an invitation or if you have any questions, please email alumnioffice@trinhall.cam.ac.uk.
Visiting Cambridge
Friends of Trinity Hall are welcome to book College accommodation when visiting Cambridge. Please note that we only have a limited number of guest rooms available during term time however out of term time, there are more rooms available. For information on College accommodation, click here.
