Alumni recognised in Queen’s Birthday Honours 2018

Congratulations to Trinity Hall alumni David Eyton (CBE) and Dr Darrin Disley (OBE), and former Fellow Professor Geoffrey Harcourt (AC), who have been honoured in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2018.

David came to Trinity Hall in 1979 to study Engineering and has been awarded a CBE for services to engineering and energy.

Darrin began his degree in Biological Sciences at Trinity Hall in 1991 and has been honoured with an OBE for services to business, enterprise and health.

Geoffrey was an Economics Fellow at Trinity Hall in the 1960s and has been made a Companion of the Order of Australia in General Division (AC) within the Australian Honours System. An AC is the highest order of the Orders of Australia and has been awarded to Geoffrey for eminent service to higher education as an academic economist and author, particularly in the fields of Post-Keynesian economics, capital theory and economic thought.
