Join us for this PaTHways Careers Event being offered by the Trinity Hall Entrepreneurs Network, where you’ll take part in a ‘roundtable’ discussion with Dr Llewellyn Cox, founder and CEO of Lab Launch. Dr Cox has had a fascinating career path and now, through his entrepreneurial company Lab Launch, offers a vital resource for bio-tech start-ups in Los Angeles. Attendees will be able to interact and ask questions throughout the discussion. Come and hear what the entrepreneurial scene is like in the USA and how Llewellyn’s company is making a difference.

The event will take place on Thursday 11 November in the Chetwode Room at Trinity Hall. Please join us from 5:35pm for a prompt start at 5:45pm (GMT). The event will last approximately 1 hour. There is no charge to attend, however, booking is required. Tea, coffee and water will be offered.

Dr Llewellyn Cox’s biography

Dr Llewellyn Cox is founder and CEO of Lab Launch, a biotechnology-focused laboratory network based in Los Angeles. He is also a General Partner at MarsBio VC, a Los Angeles-based venture firm focusing on biotechnology, and manager of the Los Angeles County Bioscience Investment Fund. Llewellyn received a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at Cardiff University in the UK, before moving to the US for postdoctoral research in neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He is also currently adjunct professor in translational biology and science communications at Keck Medicine of USC.

Lab Launch creates and operates affordable, quality laboratories for the life sciences industry. They run their own laboratory for start-up biotech companies in Monrovia, CA and work with other organisations to help them develop and operate their own shared lab spaces.
