About the event

‘A Conversation with actress and writer Sophie Winkleman’

The Hesperides Society are delighted to welcome Trinity Hall alumna, Sophie Winkleman (1998), for a discussion about her time in College and her career since leaving Trinity Hall.

The conversation with Sophie, which will be led by the Acting Vice-Master of Trinity Hall and Director of Studies in English, Dr Daniel Tyler, will explore her experiences as a student at Trinity Hall, how she went on to become an actress and writer and some of her career highlights so far.

The event will be streamed live via YouTube.

Sophie Winkleman read English at Trinity Hall, matriculating in 1998. Whilst a student in Cambridge she was a member of the Footlights, writing and acting in the Perrier-nominated show Far Too Happy.
Now she is an actress and writer, known for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Peep Show (2005-2010) and Two and a Half Men (2011-2015) amongst many others. More recently she has appeared in Trust, Sanditon and Strike.
