The Master, The Revd Dr Jeremy Morris, and Development Director, Dr Rachelle Stretch, will be hosting a dinner for Trinity Hall alumni and friends in Boston, at Post 390, on Monday 18 March 2019. Dinner will be served from 8.30pm in the Goddard Room room and spouses/partners are welcome.

O&C Society of New England lecture

The Trinity Hall dinner will take place following a lecture coordinated by the Oxford and Cambridge Society of New England (OxCamNE) featuring Trinity Hall Fellow, Dr Andrew Murray. Dr Murray will present on his decade of medical research on Mount Everest. He will discuss how our bodies cope with high altitude and how his research on the topic may lead to new therapeutic approaches that improve clinical outcomes. The title of his talk is “Kings of the Mountain: Studies of Extreme Physiology with the Himalayan Sherpas.

The OxCamNE event will take place from 6.30pm at the College Club of Boston (just a 5 minute walk from Post 390). The College Club is located at 44 Commonwealth Avenue. For full details, visit

The cost of dinner is £75 (approx $95) per person and includes three courses, drinks and entry to the OxCamNE lecture.

Post 390 is located at 406 Stuart Street (corner of Clarendon Street). Dinner will be served in the Goddard Room.

Dress code

The dress code is smart casual.


We like to take photos at our alumni events to use in our digital and print communications. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please let us know in advance or on the day.


We are able to offer refunds for bookings cancelled five working days or more before an event. Requests for late refunds will be considered on an individual basis and refunds will be issued at the discretion of the Alumni & Development Office. We cannot accept responsibility if weather or disruption to travel prevents you from attending.
