Audrey is the subject of our first featured photograph. She is an alumna, originally from Kenya and Uganda, who graduated in Law in 2016.

Audrey Sebatindira

Looking back on the reasons why she was first attracted to Trinity Hall, she remembers that it was not only the brilliance of the Law fellows but her sense that regardless of one’s interests or personality any member could fit into College life. She appreciated being pushed to work hard by the tutorial system; it encouraged her to play to her strengths and “be [herself]”.

Vibrant and stimulating discussions about women’s rights were a feature of Audrey’s life at the College and she is now the Women’s Officer at the Cambridge University Students’ Union. Audrey has recently been accepted into a course at SOAS in Gender Studies and Law, and plans to move back to Kenya eventually.
