Chapel Information

The Chapel Choir

The Chapel Choir sing Choral Evensong on Thursdays and Sundays throughout term. Those wishing to join the choir should contact the Director of Music, Andrew Arthur. His room is C2, his network phone is (3)32549 and you can email him.

The Chapel Council

The Chapel Council meets twice a term to review and stir up the life of the Chapel, and to encourage the spiritual life of the community. The current membership includes:

Sacristans: Arion Pons
Other members and officers will be announced in due course.

Christian Union

The Christian Union is an independent student group which consists of Christians in College who meet regularly to study the bible, pray together and enjoy fellowship with each other. Its members seek to explain the Christian faith to members of College.

A number of charities are supported each term by collections taken during Chapel services. Generally we aim to support an international charity, a national charity and a local charity. We are always willing to consider suggestions for suitable beneficiaries who are registered UK charities; please contact the chapel council secretary if you wish to make a suggestion.

Christian Cambridge Website carries information on college chapels and on various Christian events in Cambridge.

The Church of St Edward, King and Martyr, situated between King's Parade and the Guildhall, is the College church in town. St Edward's was given to Trinity Hall in 1446 by Henry VI and has a unique ecclesiastical status. The acting Vicar-Chaplain is the Revd Malcolm Guite. The congregation is always pleased to welcome any member of Trinity Hall to any service at St Edward's.
