NiamhThere are rarely two weekends at Trinity Hall which are the same! For me, weekends either begin with a Superhall (a meal in Hall with fines being read out for silly things that people have done during the week) or everyone cooking dinner together and chatting/watching a film/heading to one of Cambridge’s numerous pubs for a drink.

sometimes people will gather together in a big group to cook Sunday lunch"

Saturday morning usually brings a netball match; for others there will inevitably be rowing or hockey; and for the lucky ones that don’t engage in College sports, a long lie in! In the afternoon, if the weather is good, we might go into town for some shopping, or cycle to Grantchester (a quaint little village). Every two weeks there is a 'Viva!' which is basically a College bop where every year group will dress up according to a theme (which can be anything from Disney to Noah’s Ark) and gather together in the College Bar for cheesy music, dancing and general banter.

On Sunday people tend to finish essays/example questions due in for the next week, and sometimes people will gather together in a big group to cook Sunday lunch or go for a pub lunch. Some people will go to bed early to get ready for the week ahead, or if you feel awake and keen for a night out, Sunday nights at 'Life' nightclub are generally the place to be!
