Prospective Students

Ed, BA Engineering

Back to Hobbies & Free Time ->

EdWhen I first arrived I was intent on signing up to as many clubs as possible, to try and get the most out of my time. Somehow I was roped into signing up to the mixed lacrosse mailing list, but it was the best thing I ever did.

Having never played it before, I wasn't very skillful at first, but picked it up quickly (or so I tell myself) and soon found it great fun. There is hardly ever any training, so all you have to do is turn up at the weekends and have a run around with a stick.

It's got the most relaxed atmosphere ever and is a great way to spent an hour or so with friends. The best part about it was that, despite being totally relaxed, it's the only sport for which Trinity Hall has been in division 1 for the last year.

I would urge you to put your name down on the list and turn up at least once just to see what it's like!
