Prospective Students

The Department of Geography will act as a focus for your intellectual development, and is a friendly, open and relaxed place, in which you will be part of a vibrant and encouraging community of undergraduates, graduates and University officers.

Besides lectures and small-group teaching, the Department organises laboratory work, field classes and seminars. Fieldwork is an important part of the course and there are one-day trips organised as well as week-long residential courses held in the Easter and summer vacations, outside mainland Britain. You will be given every opportunity to mix with students and teachers from other colleges, in addition to the contacts you make at Trinity Hall.
