Subject requirements and admissions procedures differ a little depending on whether or not you are combining with a modern European language.
IF YOU ARE NOT COMBINING:

Two school essays on any subject.
All applicants are required to take the pre-interview written assessment for AMES at an authorised centre local to them (for a lot of applicants, this will be their school/college). Please see the Admissions Assessments page on the University website for further details.
IF YOU ARE COMBINING WITH A MODERN EUROPEAN LANGUAGE:
|Essential:||An A Level or equivalent in the MML language|
Two pieces of school work, one of which should be in the MML language.
All applicants for AMES with MML are required to take written assessments both pre-interview (the AMES assessment) and at interview (the Modern Languages assessment), if interviewed. Please see the Admissions Assessments page on the University website for further details.
