Master receives award from the Archbishop of Canterbury

We are pleased to announce that the Master, Revd Dr Jeremy Morris, received an Archbishop of Canterbury’s Award at the start of June. He received the Lanfranc Award for Education and Scholarship for outstanding contributions as a teacher, scholar, and nurturer of the desire to learn, which have influenced the next generation of ordinands and enhanced the Church of England’s self-understanding.

The Lanfranc Award for Education and Scholarship was first awarded by Archbishop Justin Welby in March 2016. It is named after Lanfranc, Archbishop of Canterbury from 1070 to 1089, who was a scholar and teacher.
