Honorary titles bestowed on two Trinity Hall fellows

We are delighted to announce that two of our Fellows have received awards: Dr John Bradley has been awarded an Honorary Professor of Experimental Medicine and Dr Lutz Jermutus (pictured) has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship.

We are delighted to commemorate Professor Stephen Hawking, alumnus (1962) and Honorary Fellow, by naming a room in College after him.

Archaeological Survey findings

The Clems/WYNG Gardens site was handed over to Cambridge Archaeological Unit in May to carry out a 10 week Archaeological investigation.  The findings were presented last week.

Family Day: Art Competition Winners

Dr John Bradley awarded a CBE in the Queen’s birthday honours

Congratulations to TH Fellow Dr John Bradley for his award of a CBE in the Queen’s birthday honours for his services to health research.  Everyone who has worked with John or known him in his capacity as Fellow and Director of Studies here at Trinity Hall, will surely recognise how deserved this is.

Congratulations to Professor Jane Clarke on her election as a Fellow of the Royal Society

We are delighted to announce that Professor Jane Clarke, Professorial Fellow in Natural Sciences (Chemical Biology), Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellow and Professor of Molecular Biophysics, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society.

We are delighted to report that, Trinity Hall alumnus, the Rt Hon Lord Justice David Bean has been appointed as the Chairman of the Law Commission, starting in August 2015.
