Dr Pradipta Biswas appointed to United Nations agency working group

Congratulations to Dr Pradipta Bawas, an alumnus and former Gates Scholar, who has now been appointed coordinator of the working group of a United Nations (UN) agency which aims to make audiovisual media accessible to people with disabilities.

THBC's Summer Adventures

This summer THBC ventured off to sunny Temple sur Lot in the South of France for a week long pre-season training camp. With transport kindly provided by Dr Walter Scott in a Gulfstream 450 the trip was certainly kicked off in style!

On 1 October 2010, in a ceremony in Cambridge's Senate House, Sir Leszek Borysiewicz was admitted to office as the 345th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge.
