Professor Jane Clarke, Professorial Fellow in Natural Sciences, has been elected Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and has recently been awarded the RSC Interdisciplinary Prize.

Professor Sir Roy Calne awarded 2012 Lasker-DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award

Professor Sir Roy Calne (Honorary Fellow) and Dr Thomas Starzl (University of Pittsburgh) have been honored with the 2012 Lasker-DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award for their work on liver transplantation, an intervention that has restored normal life to thousands of patients with end-stage liver disease.
