Admission of new fellows

At the Admission of Fellows and Scholars on 13th October we welcomed four new Honorary Fellows. 58 scholars were also admitted in person along with 17 in absentia.
Professor John Broome (1965) has held posts as Professor of Philosophy at St Andrews and White’s Professor of Moral Philosophy at Oxford.
Dr David Cleevely (1978) has founded or co-founded several companies and organisations including Abcam, Cambridge Wireless, Cambridge Angels and the Cambridge Science Centre.
Professor Martin Daunton was Master of Trinity Hall from 2004-14. He is currently Chairman of the Leverhulme Trust Research Awards Advisory Committee, and a Commissioner of English Heritage.
Professor Sir Simon Wessely (1975) is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Psychological Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neurosciences (IoPPN), King’s College London.
Other Fellows admitted to their Fellowships were:
- Dr Adam Branch (Philomathia Fellow in African Politics)
- Mr Vladimir Brljak (Thole Research Fellow in English)
- Mr Colm McGrath (WYNG Research Fellow in Medical Law and Ethics)
- Dr Rachelle Stretch (Fellow-Commoner and Development Director)
During the past year we said farewell to five Fellows - Dr Alastair Fraser, Dr Damian Crowther, Dr Farhan Feroz, Dr Ewan Jones and Dr Adrian Nickson (1999).
