Geoffrey Howe (1926-2015)

10 October 2015

We are sad to announce the death of Geoffrey Howe, Baron Howe of Aberavon, on 9th October 2015, aged 88. Lord Howe read law at Trinity Hall from 1948-1951 and was elected to an Honorary Fellowship from 1992. He was a former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Foreign Secretary, Leader of the House of Commons, Deputy Prime Minister and Lord President of the Council. He spent 52 years in Parliament before retiring earlier this year.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
