Congratulations to the new THA President, Colin Hayes (TH 1962), who was voted in at the THA meeting in September. Our huge thanks go to Nigel Chancellor (TH 1990) who has been working as President since 2011.

The beginning of the academic year starts with the Vice-Chancellor's address. Here is his message, together with a link to the full address.

As we start the new academic year, I would like to extend a warm greeting to you. Every year on 1st October I give an address to academics and members of our great University in Senate House. I am delighted to share a copy of this year’s speech, which I hope you will find of interest. It can be found on our website: www.cam.ac.uk/annualaddress2014.
