How High is my Tree?

Former Trinity Hall Junior Research Fellow, Dr Farnon Ellwood (2004-2007) explains how to determine the height of trees using trigonometry: click here. Dr Ellwood is currently a Research Associate in the Department of Zoology and travels extensively to give lectures and collaborate with scientists around the world.
