Rachel Weisz (TH 1988) wins Best Actress at Oliviers

RachelWeiszRachel Weisz has won best Actress for her role in A Streetcar Named Desire at the prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards.
Weisz's performance of Blanche DuBois in Streetcar has received huge critical acclaim. As well as the Olivier Award, she was named Best Actress 2009 at the Critics' Circle Theatre Awards and has become the first actress to win an acting award named for the late Natasha Richardson at the Evening Standard Awards.
