Kosovan President visits Trinity Hall

The Kosovan President, His Excellency Dr Fatmir Sejdiu, was visiting the UK last week for discussions with the British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, and the Foreign Secretary, David Miliband.  During the three day trip the British Ambassador for Kosovo, Andrew Sparkes (TH 1978), arranged for the President to visit Trinity Hall.  The visit commenced with a look at Trinity Hall’s Elizabethan chained library This was followed by a lunch with the Master and then Dr Sejdiu had a chance to take a walk and enjoy the sights of Trinity Hall, Clare College and King’s College.  Dr Sejdiu also had an opportunity during the day to talk to some of the some local Kosovan students.
