General Sir Geoffrey Musson GCB CBE DSO

The College is greatly saddened to learn of the death of one of its most distinguished alumni, General Sir Geoffrey Musson.

Geoffrey Musson matriculated at Trinity Hall in 1928, reading history, before embarking on a career in the Army that lasted until 1970. In the Second World War he served in Tunisia and in Italy, and won a DSO during the Italian Campaign. His many postwar appointments included GOC Northern Command, before being appointed Adjutant-General in 1967.
