Trinity Hall hosts Honorary Degree luncheon

The Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, was entertained to luncheon in Trinity Hall along with the recipients of Honorary Degrees, including Dr Hans Blix (TH 1952). Following luncheon, the Honorary Graduands processed with the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor to the Senate House to receive their degrees. Isabel Gammie, a third-year geography undergraduate at Trinity Hall, was the Chancellor's train-bearer.
Dr Hans Blix, an alumnus of Trinity Hall (1952) received an honorary Doctorate of Law. The other honorary graduands were: Ann Cotton, (Doctor of Law), Baroness O'Neill (Doctor of Law), Sir Nicholas Stern (Doctor of Law), Dr Richard Leakey (Doctor of Science), Sir John Gurdon (Doctor of Science), David Hockney (Doctor of Letters) and Claire Tomalin (Doctor of Letters).
