Standley Bushell: 1925-2016 (1943, History)
Standley Bushell read History at the Hall in the war years. He captained the Hockey side, rowed for the College and earned a half blue at sailing. After a brief spell as a teacher he switched to the law, qualified as a solicitor, and practised in Norwich for 50 years specialising in property, wills, trusts and probate work. He served as President of the Norfolk and Norwich Law Society, and retained a keen and active interest in hockey (as an Umpire) and sailing, and held leadership roles in numerous local organisations.
