Martin Morgan: 1933-2016 (1953, Mechanical Sciences)

Martin Morgan aged 83, died peacefully, after 6 years with Parkinson’s Disease, in the Maycourt Hospice Ottawa on May 2nd 2016, accompanied by his wife and son Stephen. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Theresa (Tessa), his four sons Stephen (Catherine), Peter (Carlline), Andrew and Richard (Kim). He also leaves 6 grandchildren, Rowan & Devin, Nicole & Christian, Spenser & Serena, ranging in ages from 34 to 8. He is survived by his brothers Ken and Geoffrey and his sister Philippa and ten nephews and nieces.

Arriving in Canada in 1956, he spent 35 years working, first for Northern Electric in Montreal and subsequently for Bell Canada in various Ontario Cities as well as Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Heartfelt thanks go to the Maycourt Hospice and all the hospital caregivers over his last 3 weeks. Memorial Service took place on May 7th.
