Schools Liaison

We hope to encourage all academically able pupils to apply to the College, or indeed, the University, regardless of school or background. As part of the Cambridge Admissions Office area links scheme, Trinity Hall has recently begun to develop links with schools and sixth form colleges in Somerset, Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

Our Admissions Tutors are sometimes available to travel to schools and further education and sixth form colleges within Trinity Hall’s link areas to talk with students in years 10 to 13 about the benefits of higher education and attending top universities like Cambridge. Similarly, school visits to Trinity Hall can also be organised, providing you with the opportunity to see the College and University for yourself, and potentially meet with some of the undergraduates currently studying here. We’ve had some great success with these activities in the past and are really enthusiastic to establish more in the future. If you or your school would be interested in taking part in one of these events, or indeed if you have any questions, no matter how trivial they may seem, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Admissions Officer.

N Somerset Visit‘I really enjoyed the trip because it allowed me to understand more about university life in general and not just Cambridge. I liked how enthusiastic the staff were about Cambridge and it has inspired me to work harder and feel as if it is possible for me to go. Overall, I found the experience very useful as it enabled me to have my own opinion about Cambridge and gain more information for when I apply to university later on this year.’
