Trinity Hall welcomes prospective candidates to come and visit both the University and the College. This is certainly the best way to get a 'feel' for the place and meet those with whom you may work and socialise. All our Open Days are primarily aimed at sixth form students who are considering applying to Cambridge and would like to find out more about the University, the Colleges, courses available, and the admissions process. The programme differs slightly according to the date, but all Open Days include an opportunity to take a tour of the College.
Please note that attendance at an Open Day is not a prerequisite for applying, and those who apply without having attended an Open Day are not at a disadvantage with regard to admissions.
* Please note booking is now closed for the March events. However, if you would like to be added to a waiting list, please email the Admissions Officer.
Please scroll down to see details of Open Days and how to book.
The University of Cambridge and the Colleges will be opening their doors to prospective applicants for the Cambridge Open Days in July. No booking is required to visit Trinity Hall on these dates, although you will need to book a place on the Cambridge Open Days website if you would like to take part in any of the sessions being provided by the University. We are able to offer accommodation to a limited number for the Cambridge Open Days - please contact the Admissions Officer if you would like to enquire about availability.
If you have an iPhone, you can download a free app, developed by the University, which includes a handy map of Cambridge showing the location of different Colleges and Departments.
We are keen to fit in as many prospective students as we can, which unfortunately means we are not able to include parents in the main programme. However, parents are welcome to explore the College grounds at their leisure.
Please let us know in advance if there is anything we can do to make your visit easier.
This event is open to potential applicants for all subjects. Beginning at 1.30pm and finishing at around 5.00pm, it will include input from the Admissions Tutor, information regarding courses and the admissions process, and an opportunity to look around the College. We hope also to include some input from Directors of Studies in various subjects.
To book a place, please complete the online booking form.
