College Life

The colleges are responsible for admitting students to the University of Cambridge. A Cambridge college is much more than just a collection of beautiful buildings or a hall of residence, however: it is a place where you’ll live, study and likely do an awful lot of socialising. Your college community will include undergraduate and research students, teachers and lecturers. But you can also make plenty of friends with students from other colleges in Cambridge.

How much time you spend in college is up to you. For some students, their college may simply be the place where they sleep and attend supervisions. For most though, it is a place that will provide experiences and friendships to last a lifetime.
