Trinity Hall Women's Netball success

Trinity Hall Women's Netball Team had a great year. Spurred on from our 2014 Cuppers Victory, the team came back with a bang. We were sad to see some key members of the team leave last year when they graduated, but we were luckily rewarded with some equally great and enthusiastic freshers to join the team this year. Unfortunately we lost our two shooters at the end of last year, but regained new brilliant ones in the form of freshers Eliz Peck and Megan Lockey, our incoming captains for the team.

We had a great season over all, most notably managing to beat (smash) our Wychfield neighbours, Fitzwilliam college, at the end of an intense game at the end of Michaelmas Term. We also managed to get past the qualifiers into the quarter-finals of Cuppers which was a great achievement. However, our true and consistent success was reflected in our progress in the league, as we managed to move up from 2nd division up to 1st division which is exciting for the whole team and the College as a whole. It just goes to show the hard work and the long hard hours of early morning training that the team has put in, which has really led to us achieving our ultimate goal of moving up to 1st division. All in all, a wonderful season, and I can't wait for the year ahead with the the Trinity Hall netball women.
