Relevant subsets of this data may be passed to computer security teams as part of investigations of computer misuse involving this site or other computing equipment in the College. Data may be passed to the administrators of other computer systems to enable investigation of problems accessing this site or of system misconfigurations. Data may incidentally be included in information passed to contractors and computer maintenance organisations working for the College, in which case it will be covered by appropriate non-disclosure agreements. Otherwise the logged information is not passed to any third party except if required by law. Summary statistics are extracted from this data and some of these may be made publicly available, but those that are do not include information from which individuals could be identified.

Where possible web pages are written to conformance level 1 standard (A), and as closely as possible to conformance level 2 (AA) and 3 standard (AAA).
We will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Providing such information is strictly voluntary.
Online profile updates: Your data is used by Trinity Hall for a number of interdependent purposes, including alumni and supporter relations, communications and fundraising; as detailed in our data protection statement. You have the right to object to the use of your data for any of these purposes. The College does not sell any data to third parties.
Privacy settings: You are able to state which fields of information within your online profile that you would like kept private from other members of the community and which you would like available to other members of the community by checking and unchecking the privacy checkbox alongside each item of information. Name and matriculation year are visible to other members of the community by default.
Sending us an email: You may decide to send us personally identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail message containing a question or comment, or by filling out a Web form that provides us this information. We use personally identifying information from email primarily to respond to your requests. We may forward your email to other employees who are better able to answer your questions. We may also use your email address to contact you in the future about our programs that may be of interest.
Opt out or change your information: Our online community provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving email communications from us via your profile. You cannot remove yourself from our database entirely as we will always maintain a record of name, matriculation year and subject for archive purposes, but you can prevent unwanted e-mail and/or print communication and you can ask to be removed from our online directory. If you wish to be removed from Trinity Hall's postal mailing list and/or email mailing list please contact firstname.lastname@example.org If you would prefer not to appear in the online alumni directory on THalumni.net please contact email@example.com
Alumni noticeboard: All messages made available as part of an alumni message/discussion board and any opinions, advice, statements or other information contained in any messages posted or transmitted by any third party are the responsibility of the author of that message and not of Trinity Hall (unless Trinity Hall is specifically identified as the author of the message). The fact that a particular message is posted on or transmitted using the alumni message board does not mean that Trinity Hall has endorsed that message in any way or verified the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message. We encourage visitors to the message board to report any objectionable message to firstname.lastname@example.org. The message board is not monitored 24/7.
